Activity-based learning
Sanako Speak! uses an activity-based learning approach. Teachers can choose from many different activities and can quickly and easily assign them to students as practice or homework exercises. These activities are designed to develop all of the core skills of language teaching and learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Practise speaking
Sanako Speak! uses simple dual-track recording, which allows students to insert their recordings into a master track/file. Speaking activities include:
- Simple listen and repeat exercises
- Role playing
- Vocabulary games
- Translation activities
- Interviews
- Reading practise (pronunciation)
Develop listening skills
Sanako Speak! allows teachers to easily create comprehensive listening activities using either a teacher-led voice file or externally sourced video and audio files. Teachers can integrate these listening sources with multiple choice questions or gap-filling exercises to create a fully integrated and managed exercise. Activities could include:
- Vocabulary games
- Translation activities
- Writing exercises (gap-filling)
- Spelling exercises
- Grammar teaching
Flexibility
With Sanako Speak! teachers are not limited to using pre-prepared content within the system. They can easily integrate content supplied by publishers and other media producers, online content, or other information they believe will engage and interest their students.
Individualization
Sanako Speak! offers teachers the ability to individualize activities. They can assign exercises as easily to one student as they can to a group of students or the entire class. For example, if a student joins the class late the teacher can assign certain exercises to that student, regardless of what the rest of the class is doing.
Sanako Speak!are institution specific. They can include the institution’s address, details, and logo on the login page.
Cloud technology
Sanako Speak! uses cloud computing, which offers the institution scalability, accessibility, and agility. There is little need for software installations or upgrades. All of the tools and software that teachers and students need to create or complete the exercises are delivered from the cloud after logging in.
Cloud computing provides seamless access from anywhere in the world. Students with access to a computer with an internet connection and headphones and a microphone can deploy Sanako Speak! wherever they are.
