SANAKO Lounge 100 wins CODIE Award for Best New Education Solution 2004
SANAKO Lounge 100 was voted the Best New Education Solution by the members of SIIA (Software and Information Industry Association). Winners were announced at the Awards Ceremony and Gala of the 19th Annual CODIE Awards of the SIIA on May 18 in San Francisco, California. There were more than 800 entrants from over 600 companies for the 2004 CODIE Awards, a record high for the prestigious program. Sanako Lounge 100 was nominated as a finalist in two categories, Best Post Secondary Education Solution, and Best New Education Solution.
SANAKO’s Chief Technology Officer, Timo Vasankari attended the awards ceremony and received the award on behalf of the company. He said he was pleased that Sanako was recognized in this forum with other leading software companies such as Adobe, Macromedia, IBM, Google and Symantech. He congratulated all the partners involved in developing the award-winning solution, The SANAKO R&D and Marketing teams have done an excellent job. We should also forward our thanks to the Sanako CSU Virtual Lab project team, and its pioneer users the School of World Languages and Cultures of California State University at Monterey Bay.

SANAKO has since merged development of its award-winning SANAKO Lounge 100 synchronous e-learning solution with its corporate e-learning application SANAKO Forum 100 to bring more benefits, flexibility and functionality to both corporate and educational users. The combined e-learning solution is now known as SANAKO Forum 100.
